Ish Smith Has Another Solid Game Off The Bench
6 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Ish Smith had another good game coming off the bench for his team on Thursday. He scored 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting and went 2-for-4 from three-point range. Smith added four assists, two boards, and a block, in 26 minutes. While it wasn’t as good as his monster 26 point performance the previous game, it was still a solid night for Smith. He ended up playing more minutes than starter Reggie Jackson in this one too. If Smith continues to shoot the ball well from three that may continue. However, it should be noted that Smith was only a speculative add at best when he was the full-time starter last season. So owners shouldn’t rush to their waiver wires to add him just yet. But if he can continue to stroke the ball from the three-point line he’s worth an add in 12-team and deeper leagues. Smith will look to continue his solid shooting against Eastern powerhouse Boston Celtics on Saturday night.
