Isaiah McKenzie Remains In Concussion Protocol
2 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol, but head coach Sean McDermott said McKenzie will be limited at Wednesday's practice. McKenzie will need to get cleared from the protocols in order to play in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he's on the right track. The 27-year-old has been more productive than Gabe Davis through four games, catching 15 of 21 targets for 153 yards and two touchdowns, which has made him an upside WR4/flex play for fantasy managers as the team's starting slot receiver. But if McKenzie doesn't clear the protocols this week, the Bills will be short-handed in the slot, as Jamison Crowder broke his ankle last week. If McKenzie is forced to sit, rookie Khalil Shakir would be forced into a bigger role.
