Isaiah McKenzie Injures Shoulder In Practice
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in practice on Tuesday, according to a source. McKenzie is undergoing an MRI exam to determine the severity of the injury after emerging as a key weapon for the Bills offense last year. The 26-year-old has also had a strong training camp and was likely to earn the No. 5 receiving role entering the regular season. McKenzie is also the team's top kick returner, so a lengthy injury absence could complicate Buffalo's return game as well. He had five receiving touchdowns in 2020 but remains mostly a chest piece that won't see enough volume to be a realistic fantasy weapon. McKenzie's injury, if serious, could open the door for Jake Kumerow to serve as the No. 5 wideout to begin the regular season.
