Ifeatu Melifonwu Questionable To Return
Jan 18, 2025, 9:31 PM ET
According to the team, Detroit Lions safety Ifeatu Melifonwu (hamstring) is questionable to return to Saturday's playoff game against the Washington Commanders. Melifonwu sustained this injury during the third quarter of the game. Before exiting, he tallied two tackles. Morice Norris should see an uptick in snaps as a result.--Andy SmithSource: Detroit Lions

Tai Felton to Have Larger Role with Jefferson Out

Oct 3, 2026, 12:34 PM ET
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Tai Felton is expected to see a larger role in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins. Star wideout Justin Jefferson suffered an ankle sprain that has ruled him out, leaving Jordan Addison, Jauan Jennings, and Felton as the receivers with significant roles. The second-year receiver had two targets but no receptions in the 23-16 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, yet he played 55% of the snaps and 65% of the routes after Jefferson left the game early. He faces a Dolphins defense that has allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, but also the seventh-most passing yards. With a limited role behind Addison and Jennings still expected, Felton is not fantasy-relevant despite the increased role with Jefferson inactive.--Nathan HarveySource: RotoBaller
Cody White Still a Risky Play Despite Touchdown Streak

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Cody White has been an unexpected bright spot amid the team's 3-0 start to the season, contributing three touchdowns over the last two weeks. However, despite the scoring streak, he's still not a reliable fantasy option for Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. All three of White's catches this season have gone for touchdowns; this 100% touchdown rate is absolutely not sustainable. Something has to give, and right now, he's more likely to see his touchdown volume decrease rather than see his target volume increase. With a sub-22% snap share in all three of his games, White's fantasy outlook is entirely dependent on him scoring a touchdown. Even last week, when he scored a touchdown, he finished with a modest 7.6 fantasy points in PPR leagues, because the touchdown was his only catch. We might see his snap share increase with Jack Bech (forearm) on injured reserve, but he's still behind Jalen Nailor, Tre Tucker, and potentially Dareke Young on the depth chart. Managers looking for a receiver with touchdown upside should head the waiver wire for better options with higher volume shares. It's also worth noting that he has an incredibly challenging matchup against the Chiefs, who have allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers in 2026.--Andersen PickardSource: RotoBaller
Brandin Cooks to Have Role in Week 4 Given 49ers Injuries

Oct 3, 2026, 12:24 PM ET
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandin Cooks is expected to make his debut in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos. Cooks signed with the 49ers' practice squad, was promoted to the active roster on Thursday, and is set to play Sunday. The veteran receiver played 15 games with the New Orleans Saints and the Buffalo Bills last season, hauling in 24 of 36 targets for 279 yards and no touchdowns. With Mike Evans (ribs) questionable and De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle), Christian Kirk (calf), and Demarcus Robinson on injured reserve, Cooks will likely slot in alongside Deebo Samuel Sr., Jordan Watson, and Jacob Cowing. While he faces a difficult test against the Broncos' stout secondary, Cooks could be a receiver to watch if he has success in Week 4.--Nathan HarveySource: RotoBaller
Chig Okonkwo in TE2 Territory for Week 4 Return Against Colts

Washington Commanders tight end Chig Okonkwo will make his return in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury. Okonkwo played 55.7% of the snaps and caught two of three targets for 16 yards before exiting. The 27-year-old tight end could serve as Washington's No. 2 target in the passing game behind Stefon Diggs with Terry McLaurin (hamstring) not expected to play. Okonkwo could be in line for a productive day against a Colts defense that has allowed the ninth most fantasy points per game (10.8) and the fifth most receptions (20) to opposing tight ends so far this season. Okonkwo ranks as RotoBaller's TE25 in PPR formats for Week 4.--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller
Treylon Burks a Deep League Flier in Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 12:18 PM ET
Washington Commanders wide receiver Treylon Burks is expected to see more snaps in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, with Terry McLaurin (hamstring) not expected to play. Burks ran the third most routes behind McLaurin and Stefon Diggs in Week 3 against Seattle and hauled in both of his targets last week for 13 yards and a touchdown. The 26-year-old is likely to share some routes with Dyami Brown and others as Washington rotates their wide receivers a bit. Despite a likely increased role, Burks doesn't project as a fantasy option for Week 4 except for deeper leagues. He is worth considering as a high-risk, high-upside option in DFS competitions given the increase in snaps.--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller
Jacob Cowing Could Benefit for 49ers Injuries in Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 12:16 PM ET
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jacob Cowing should see an expanded role in Week 4, with several injuries across the team's wide receiver room. Although Cowing hasn't recorded a stat in three games this season, he's seen increased usage over the past two weeks. He's played 36% of snaps and 36% of routes. Wide receiver Mike Evans (ribs) is questionable, and De'Zhaun Stribling (ankle), Christian Kirk (calf), and Demarcus Robinson are on injured reserve. If Evans can't play, Cowing should be a key contributor alongside Deebo Samuel Sr. and Jordan Watkins. They face a difficult matchup against the Denver Broncos, who have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season and the second-fewest in 2025. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should keep tabs on Cowing, especially if the 49ers suffer additional injuries to their already depleted receiver room.--Nathan HarveySource: RotoBaller
Antonio Williams Could Be In Line for Bigger Role in Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 12:15 PM ET
Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams may be in line for an increased role in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts, with Terry McLaurin (hamstring) now not expected to play. Williams has had multiple receptions in every game so far this season and has looked impressive with his limited opportunities. It will be interesting to see how much the rookie third-rounder's role increases after he saw his route share down to a season low of 22.9% in Week 3. Veterans Treylon Burks and Dyami Brown have maintained steady roles and are expected to be a part of a rotation again in Week 4. Williams should still have more opportunities this week and could have some flex appeal in deeper formats in an appealing Week 4 matchup against a Colts defense that has allowed the third most passing yards per game (276) and the fourth most yards per pass attempt (7.8).--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back Chris Brooks has yet to touch the ball more than seven times in a single game this season, and his snap share has steadily declined each week since the season opener. However, a projected positive game script against the Buccaneers in Week 4 could be exactly what Brooks needs to turn his season around. This Packers backfield has yet to see any consistency in terms of personnel, with Brooks and MarShawn Lloyd both occupying minimal roles while Josh Jacobs remains on the commissioner's exempt list. Although Brooks' snap share has slipped a little lately, he has still been playing more than both Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson. The Packers are favored by three points on the road, presenting an opportunity for Brooks to feast in the rushing attack. He's a fair RB3/flex option in deeper fantasy leagues for Week 4.--Andersen PickardSource: RotoBaller
Stefon Diggs Profiles as Strong WR2 in Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 12:11 PM ET
Washington Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs could be in line for an even bigger target share in Week 4 against the Colts, with Terry McLaurin (hamstring) expected to be sidelined. Diggs has gotten off to a strong start in Washington, drawing at least six targets in all three games and catching three touchdowns. The 32-year-old wideout still isn't quite running a full route share, but he did spike to a season-high 77.1% after dipping down to 52.4% in Week 2. Diggs could be set up for a strong day against a leaky Colts secondary that has allowed the third most passing yards per game (276) and the fourth most yards per pass attempt (7.8). Diggs should be fired up as a high-end WR2 in one of the higher-scoring projected matchups of the week.--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller
Jacory Croskey-Merritt A Solid RB2 in Week 4 with Potential for Larger Role

Oct 3, 2026, 12:09 PM ET
Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt handled a career-high 20 touches in Week 3's win over the Seattle Seahawks. Croskey-Merritt wasn't overly efficient on his touches, rushing for just 36 yards on 19 carries and adding one catch for seven yards, but the second-year back has seen steady volume in each game so far. Croskey-Merritt also had a 48-yard touchdown wiped out by an unfortunate illegal formation penalty. Now with Rachaad White (shoulder) ruled out for Week 4, Croskey-Merritt should maintain a high-volume role and potentially see more involvement as a receiver. It's an appealing Week 4 matchup against a Colts defense that is allowing the fourth most rushing yards per game (141.3) and tied for the second most rushing touchdowns (five) in the league through three games. In a game with one of the higher projected totals of the week, Croskey-Merritt projects as a solid RB2 for Week 4, ranking as RotoBaller's RB23 in PPR formats.--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller

Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota is set to make his second start of the season, filling in for Jayden Daniels (elbow) in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts as both teams travel across the pond to play in London. Mariota was very effective in Week 3 versus a stout Seattle Seahawks defense, completing 19 of 31 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns and adding five rushes for 11 yards on the ground. The 32-year-old signal caller finished as the QB13 in Week 3 with 20.4 fantasy points, and he could be primed for another productive day against a Colts defense that is allowing the fifth-most fantasy points (21.9) and third-most passing yards per game (276) to opposing quarterbacks through three games. Mariota profiles as a high-end QB2 in this matchup and ranks as RotoBaller's QB17 for Week 4, even with his top wideout, Terry McLaurin, not expected to suit up.--Kyle McCarthySource: RotoBaller
Cam Skattebo Fined for Illegal Helmet Contact Following Week 3

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo was fined an undisclosed amount by the NFL for "illegal helmet contact on a running play" during Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. The play in question was a rushing attempt that went for a short gain. Skattebo lowered his helmet into Titans linebacker Cedric Gray to break his tackle and fight for extra yardage. Later, a viral video showed that the Giants decal on Skattebo's helmet had fallen off because it had endured so much contact. It will be interesting to see whether officials begin penalizing Skattebo for using his helmet to create contact. In the meantime, fantasy managers will continue to appreciate the second-year back for fighting for every extra yard.--Andersen PickardSource: Jordan Raanan
New York Jets D/ST Still a Risky Week 4 Stream

New York Jets D/ST gets a somewhat better matchup now that Caleb Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out, but that doesn't suddenly make this unit a comfortable fantasy start. Tyson Bagent is expected to get the call for Chicago after taking most of the first-team reps, with Case Keenum still available after leading Monday night's 27-7 win over Philadelphia. The Jets have defended well in terms of yardage, allowing 258.3 per game, and they have nine sacks. The fantasy problem has been turnovers. New York has forced only one through three games. RotoBaller dropped the Jets to D/ST23 in Saturday's rankings, which puts them firmly in deep-league territory. The backup-quarterback matchup adds some upside, but there are still safer streamers on the board.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller
Keenan Allen Ruled Out for Week 4

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen (groin) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Washington Commanders in London, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Wide receiver injuries continue to plague the Colts, who had already placed Alec Pierce (heel) on injured reserve earlier in the season. Allen being inactive is a major loss for the Colts, given that he exploded for six catches, 63 yards, and one touchdown last weekend. Now, this Daniel Jones-led passing attack will take on the Commanders with a wide receiver group led by Josh Downs, Darius Slayton, Laquon Treadwell, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Ashton Dulin (ankle). In all reality, the Colts will place a much heavier emphasis on running the football with workhorse running back Jonathan--Andersen PickardSource: Adam Schefter
Jason Sanders Hard to Recommend in Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 11:32 AM ET
New York Jets kicker Jason Sanders has been steady through three games, making five of six field-goal attempts and all five extra points. He has enough leg to help from distance, including a 52-yarder already this season. The problem is the state of the offense around him. Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, and Mason Taylor are all out, and the Jets are facing a Chicago defense that just held Philadelphia to seven points. That combination makes it harder to project sustained drives and reliable scoring chances. Sanders is K23 in RotoBaller's Saturday rankings. He can be used in deeper leagues, but standard-league managers should be able to find a better streaming option for Week 4.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller
Rashod Bateman is on the Outside Looking In for Week 4

Oct 3, 2026, 11:30 AM ET
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman could not repeat his electric Week 2 performance in Week 3 against the Cowboys in Brazil, with fellow wide receiver Zay Flowers (hamstring) returning from injury. He hauled in just two of his three targets for 37 yards despite running the most routes (20) of any Ravens pass catcher. The Ravens return to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore to take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 4, and Bateman is poised to reprise his background role. The sixth-year wideout leads the team in routes run (79) and has an 86% snap share, but has a meager 15% target share. The veteran out of Minnesota still has home-run potential, so he remains an intriguing option for deep-league managers. He has seen a red zone target in two straight games, and his 13.1 air yards per target puts him in the top 20% of all qualified receivers in the league. However, the Titans' pass defense has played teams tight and has allowed the fifth-fewest intermediate (10-19 air yards) pass plays (16) and fifth-fewest deep (20+ air yards) plays (6) through three games, which further limits Bateman, who has run 70% of routes from a wide alignment. The 26-year-old receiver remains quarterback Lamar Jackson's second choice behind Flowers, with rookie Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist) still on IR and veteran tight end Mark Andrews having a sluggish start. Bateman is RotoBaller's WR49 going into Week 4 and is primarily a deep-league WR4/Flex option, especially for managers dealing with early-season injuries to their wide receiver corps.--Matt McCauleySource: ESPN
Kenyon Sadiq Questionable but Still Has TE1 Appeal

New York Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq (back) is questionable after being limited in all three practices this week. If he's active, though, the setup is still appealing. Mason Taylor (thumb) and Adonai Mitchell (finger) have both been ruled out, two absences that helped open the door for Sadiq's seven-catch, 105-yard, one-touchdown breakout against Detroit. He did that on eight targets and now has 12 receptions for 143 yards through three games. There is some snap-count caution here because Sadiq played 57% of the offensive snaps last week, and the back issue adds another layer of uncertainty. RotoBaller's Saturday update has him at TE10. Fantasy managers should have a backup plan available Sunday morning, but Sadiq is a legitimate TE1 if the Jets clear him to play.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller
Garrett Wilson Remains a Must-Start WR1

Oct 3, 2026, 11:29 AM ET
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is coming off 10 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets, and the Jets may need him even more in Chicago. Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, and Mason Taylor have all been ruled out, leaving fewer proven options around Geno Smith. Wilson already has 27 targets through three games, with 21 catches for 243 yards and two scores, so volume wasn't exactly a problem before the injuries piled up. Chicago's defense looked much better Monday night against Philadelphia, but that isn't enough to move Wilson out of the lineup. He's WR5 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings and remains the clear centerpiece of the Jets passing game. Treat him as a WR1 and move on.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller

Oct 3, 2026, 11:27 AM ET
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen gets his first real chance to lead the backfield Sunday with Breece Hall (quad) ruled out. Allen has only 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries through three games, but those numbers came while working behind Hall. The opportunity changes this week. Allen took the majority of the practice reps, while Isaiah Davis is also expected to see more work, so this shouldn't automatically be treated as a one-back setup. Still, Chicago has allowed 351 rushing yards and 5.1 yards per carry, which is a much friendlier spot than Allen could have asked for. RotoBaller has him at RB22 in its Saturday rankings. The committee risk is real, but Allen has enough projected work to be used as an RB2 or flex.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller

Oct 3, 2026, 11:25 AM ET
New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith earned his way back onto the streaming radar with 321 yards and three touchdowns against Detroit. He completed 31 of 37 passes in that game and now has 783 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions through three weeks. The protection remains the part that can wreck the day. Smith was sacked five times by Detroit and has gone down nine times this season. Chicago just forced three turnovers while holding Philadelphia to seven points, so another clean 300-yard performance isn't something to assume. RotoBaller has Smith at QB19 for Week 4. He's playable if you're streaming the position and an easy Superflex start, but the offensive-line issues keep him outside the group of quarterbacks fantasy managers should feel obligated to use.--Bruno MuléSource: RotoBaller
