7 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman/outfielder Ian Desmond is out of the lineup on Wednesday. Desmond is hitting just .150 over the last week, and he’s got an atrocious .223 on-base percentage this season. Ryan McMahon’s demotion takes any possible pressure off Desmond for this season, so even when he’s playing this bad, he’ll likely be in the lineup the vast majority of the time. However, until he gets out of his funk, he shouldn’t be started in most leagues.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
