Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brett Pesce could be heading out of town this summer. TSN's Pierre LeBrun has reported that the Hurricanes will look to move Pesce if the 28-year-old doesn't sign an extension with the club. Pesce is set to enter the final season of a six-year contract that has a $4.025 million cap hit. The American blue-liner enjoyed a career year this season with 30 points in 82 games while racking up 110 blocks and finishing among the team leaders with a plus-11 rating. LeBrun mentioned the Buffalo Sabres as a potential landing spot for Pesce.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
