8 months agoTexas Rangers designated hitter Hunter Pence (groin) recently underwent an MRI, and while the results showed no new injury, he has been pulled from his rehab assignment. This status update will likely take Pence out of next week's All-Star festivities. The 36-year-old vet was voted in as the American League's DH after hitting .294 with 15 home runs and driving in 48. With this development, it's hard to pinpoint a return for Pence but when he does, he should step back into the DH role.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
