Hunter Greene Strong in Rehab Start
Hunter Greene (groin) delivered an encouraging performance in a rehab start in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Wednesday. Greene, who's working back from a strained right groin, tossed two scoreless, no-hit innings with four strikeouts against one walk. The 25-year-old threw 28 pitches (16 strikes), and should climb to the Triple-A level for a start on July 29 if he gets through the next handful of days unscathed. Greene has been on the 15-day IL twice this year with groin issues and hasn't pitched since June 3. When healthy, though, Greene has been spectacular. He owns a 2.72 ERA with a 0.97 WHIP and 73:14 K:BB across 59 2/3 innings.
