Hunter Greene Progressing to Game Action
Hunter Greene (groin) is scheduled to throw two innings in the Arizona Complex League on Wednesday, according to MLB.com. If all goes well for Greene in the ACL, he'll make his next appearance with Triple-A Louisville on July 29. Greene has been on the 15-day injured list since June 4 due to a right groin strain. In 59 2/3 innings (11 starts) before getting hurt, he was 4-3 with a 2.72 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts. His 24.9% K-BB% rate was the best of his career, and his 2.95 xERA backs up his stellar surface-level numbers. Greene is a fantasy ace when healthy, and it appears as though he's on track for an early-August return barring any setbacks.
