Hunter Dozier Rips 11th Homer
6 years agoIn the bottom of the fifth inning on Sunday, Kansas City Royals corner infielder Hunter Dozier hammered a meatball from Domingo German into the seats in left center for his 11th home run of the season. It was part of a four-hit game by Dozier, continuing an impressive breakout that has seen Dozier become a star in Kansas City. Dozier's strikeout rate has fallen be an incredible 10% from last season, he's already got more walks than all of last year, he's spraying the ball to all fields, he's hitting with more power, and he hasn't popped up in the infield a single time all season. Dozier has turned into an entirely different player, and it looks like the vast majority of it is a permanent change.
