C.J. Stroud Misfires In Loss To Minnesota
3 months agoHouston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud struggled on Sunday in a 34-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, finishing the day by completing 20 of 31 passes for 215 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. The Vikings' defense flummoxed a third straight offense, as the Texans did not score in the first half and trailed by 14 or more for the rest of the game. The former Ohio State star had not turned over the ball through two weeks, but Sunday became the second time in his young career that he threw two picks in the same game. Houston will face a friendlier matchup in Week 4 when the Jacksonville Jaguars come to town.
