6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Homer Bailey was riding a bit of a high after a mediocre first outing last week, but that was short-lived. Bailey was blown up by Seattle on Monday as the Mariners hung seven earned runs on him in five-plus innings pitched. Bailey struck out seven, but he also gave up three home runs, including the first of two by Edwin Encarnacion in the sixth inning. Bailey is still living high on the hog off his pedigree, but there's nothing in the last few years that indicates Bailey should be owned in any fantasy leagues. He'll face the Indians next week, but no one should be starting him.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
