Hector Velazquez To Start Tuesday, Stay In Rotation

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Hector Velazquez will start Game 2 against the Tigers on Tuesday and will stick in the rotation for a couple of turns with Nathan Eovaldi on the injured list. The 30-year-old right-hander is 0-1 this year with a 2.84 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 10 K's in 12 2/3 innings over his six outings (two starts). He's been solid in his swing role with Boston the last three years and is one to grab in deep mixed and AL-only leagues in the short term while he's in the rotation. He'll also be a nice streaming sleeper for Game 2 of the doubleheader against Detroit on Tuesday.
