Harrison Bader Making Progress
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (hamstring) is progressing after landing on the IL. He's been out with a low-grade hamstring string, but fortunately, he's been running, hitting, and throwing without discomfort, which is certainly a positive sign. The 29-year-old has played well enough this season to land on some fantasy rosters, hitting .267 with 14 runs, 19 RBI, and six home runs in 26 games. Skipper Aaron Boone isn't sure if Bader will need a rehab assignment. But it sounds like he could be back in the lineup relatively soon, possibly by the end of June, at the latest.
