Harrison Bader Likely To Return Tuesday
New York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) will likely be activated from his minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday, according to skipper Aaron Boone. Bader hasn't played in a major-league game since June 26 when he was with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was put in a protective walking boot after going on a minor league rehab assignment with St. Louis' Triple-A affiliate on July 22 and was then moved to the 60-day injured list on Aug. 25. The 28-year-old will give the Yankees defense a boost in center field as well as on the basepaths when he finally makes his team debut. In 246 at-bats with the Cardinals before his foot injury, Bader was hitting .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.
