Harrison Bader Likely To Return Tuesday
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) will likely be activated from his minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday, according to skipper Aaron Boone. Bader hasn't played in a major-league game since June 26 when he was with the St. Louis Cardinals. He was put in a protective walking boot after going on a minor league rehab assignment with St. Louis' Triple-A affiliate on July 22 and was then moved to the 60-day injured list on Aug. 25. The 28-year-old will give the Yankees defense a boost in center field as well as on the basepaths when he finally makes his team debut. In 246 at-bats with the Cardinals before his foot injury, Bader was hitting .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.
