2 years agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Gunnar Henderson is serving as the team's designated hitter and is batting leadoff on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays and right-hander Chris Bassitt. Ramon Urias will start at third base and hit eighth in the lineup. It's the third straight game that Henderson has occupied the top spot in Baltimore's batting order, and it's well-deserved, as the 21-year-old has been red-hot at the dish to start the month of June. In seven games played, he's gone 11-for-24 (.458) with a double, four home runs, seven RBI and two stolen bases in 25 plate appearances.
