Giants Ready To Spend In Free Agency

Even after the New York Giants spent plenty of money to sign quarterback Daniel Jones to a contract extension and to franchise tag running back Saquon Barkley, general manager Joe Schoen says he's ready to spend in free agency this offseason. "We're not shopping for minimum players anymore," Schoen said. New York may not break the bank, but they aren't pinching pennies like they were last offseason when Schoen took over. The G-Men need help at wide receiver and could use more playmakers at all three levels of the defense. Despite being limited in what they could do financially last year, the Giants went 9-7-1 and made the playoffs in Head Coach of the Year Brian Daboll's first year at the helm.
