Giancarlo Stanton Homers For Ninth Time In August

New York Yankees designated hitter/outfielder Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an RBI single in Monday's loss to the Angels. Stanton's homer was a tape-measure shot, one that traveled 457 feet at a whopping 115.2 MPH. It's his ninth homer of August and the fifth time he's left the years in the last seven contests, as he is one of the hottest hitters on the planet at the moment. The slugger matches up well with Tuesday's projected Angels starter, Jaime Barria, who has pitched to a 5.56 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 34 innings pitched this season.
