Giancarlo Stanton Feeling Great
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton (Achilles) played in only 110 games last year and hit .211 while dealing with left Achilles tendinitis. However, he told the Yankees that he's feeling great this offseason, according to a source. If he can stay healthy, there's a chance he could work himself into semi-regular appearances in left field. Stanton saw just four regular season games in left field in 2022 and 34 in right field. Despite the low average, the 33-year-old slugger managed 31 home runs, which was the fourth time in his career he's hit that mark. Fantasy managers should know by now that Stanton will likely be on the injured list at some point during the season, but you can't argue with his elite power in a great lineup and home ballpark.
