Geronimo Allison Hopes To Find Role On Lions
3 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Geronimo Allison will have an opportunity to find a role on a young Lions offense heading into training camp. The 25-year-old has been the first four years of his career in Green Bay and now moves over to a NFC North rival. Allison played in all 16 games last season but was named the starter for only six of them. He racked up a career-high 34 passes on 55 targets last season with 287 yards and two touchdowns. Allison came into the league as a downfield threat but averaged only 8.4 yards per catch last season. The Lions have completely overhauled their wide receiving group in the offseason and there will be plenty of chances to build chemistry with new quarterback Jared Goff throughout camp and preseason action.
