Colorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez snagged the win with a fantastic performance against the Dodgers on Monday night. Marquez went seven innings while only allowing two hits and one earned run in a nail-biter. He struck out five and walked two along the way. Marquez is saddled with a 4.62 ERA that is almost entirely inflated by three bad starts where he’s given up 18 earned runs in just 12 2/3 innings. Outside of those three starts, he’s had seven starts where he’s allowed no more than two earned runs. Those three starts all took place at home. Owners should feel confident starting Marquez and his 2.06 ERA on the road.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
