German Marquez, Raimel Tapia Go On Injured List

The Colorado Rockies placed starting pitcher German Marquez (arm) and outfielder Raimel Tapia (hand) on the 10-day injured list on Monday. Pitchers Phillip Diehl and Joe Harvey have been recalled from Triple-A in corresponding moves. Marquez is useful in mixed leagues for his strikeouts (175 in 174 innings), but he's been hit or miss otherwise with a 4.76 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 28 starts. The right-hander is usually one to avoid at home and one to start on the road. Colorado's rotation is especially beat up after also losing Jon Gray and Kyle Freeland as well. Tapia has been especially hot since the All-Star break, so he's a big loss in fantasy. Overall, he's hitting .290/.326/.440 with eight homers, 49 runs, 38 RBI and five steals. Yonathan Daza should benefit the most with extra playing time with Tapia on the shelf.
