German Marquez Bounces Back
5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez has been struggling lately, but he was on point on Friday night against the Dodgers. Marquez went eight innings while allowing just one earned run (and one unearned run). He was saddled with a no-decision due to a phenomenal outing by Walker Buehler on the other side, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this outing should help quell nerves throughout the fantasy landscape. Coming into the matchup, Marquez had only had one good outing in his last five, so this was a breath of fresh air. All the peripherals say Marquez should be better than he has been, so owners should practice patience. He'll get a nice matchup against the Giants in SF next week.
