Gerald Everett Day-To-Day With Groin Injury
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said that tight end Gerald Everett (groin) is day-to-day after suffering a groin injury in Sunday night's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "I think you'll see him out there in practice some time this week," Staley said. Everett left the game in the second quarter on Sunday night and never returned, finishing with two catches for 23 yards. However, it sounds like the veteran tight end will have a chance to play on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. The 28-year-old has been a viable TE streamer in fantasy with receivers Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) sidelined, but they both have a shot to return for the showdown against the Chiefs as well.
