George Springer, Aledmys Diaz Do Some Running Wednesday

Houston Astros outfielder George Springer (hamstring) and infielder Aledmys Diaz (hamstring), who are both on the injured list with strained left hamstrings, both ran on the field on Wednesday. It's a great sign of progress for both players, but they will need to go on rehab assignments before returning in June. Springer has been an MVP candidate this year, hitting .308/.389/.643 with 17 homers, 41 runs, 43 RBI and four steals. Diaz has also been very serviceable as a utility infielder for Houston and will likely be needed at shortstop when he returns with Carlos Correa (rib) out four to six weeks with a fractured rib.
