Houston Astros outfielder George Springer (hamstring) and infielder Aledmys Diaz (hamstring), who are both on the injured list with strained left hamstrings, both ran on the field on Wednesday. It's a great sign of progress for both players, but they will need to go on rehab assignments before returning in June. Springer has been an MVP candidate this year, hitting .308/.389/.643 with 17 homers, 41 runs, 43 RBI and four steals. Diaz has also been very serviceable as a utility infielder for Houston and will likely be needed at shortstop when he returns with Carlos Correa (rib) out four to six weeks with a fractured rib.--Keith Hernandez
