Geno Smith Records Four Touchdowns Against Cowboys
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had an unexpected bounce-back against one of the league's toughest defenses. After the 49ers held him to 180 passing yards in Week 12, Smith went off against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, going 23-for-41 for 334 yards and three touchdowns. He added another six yards on two rushes, one of which was a five-yard dash for another score. The game wasn't without its miscues, however. Smith gave up an interception to DaRon Bland (who did NOT run it back for a pick-six) and while he avoided being sacked all game, he made several errant throws in the final five minutes while under heavy pressure from the Cowboys' pass rush. The Seahawks now have a mini-bye before their Week 14 rematch against San Francisco, where Smith will hope to build off of this performance and salvage Seattle's playoff chances.
