Gavin Lux Feeling Better
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux (hamstring) said he has resumed sprinting and is doing a lot better than originally thought. Lux did some sprinting over the weekend, but despite the good news, the Dodgers plan to bring him along slowly after he landed on the injured list with a left hamstring strain. The 23-year-old had been filling in at shortstop for Corey Seager and was hitting just .227/.307/.349 with six home runs, 39 runs scored, 37 RBI and three stolen bases at the time of his injury in 278 at-bats. Lux is much more attractive for stashing purposes in dynasty/keeper leagues. If you have more pressing needs in deep mixed leagues, don't feel compelled to hang onto him. With Chris Taylor at shortstop, Max Muncy, Zack McKinstry and Sheldon Neuse have seen some playing time at the keystone for the Dodgers recently.
