Gary Woodland, currently the 26th ranked player in the official World Golf rankings, has not played well since his win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He has played in four events, missing the cut in two of them, and finishing 49th and 50th in the other two. We don’t want to call this a winner’s hangover per say, but prior to the win, he had placed T4, T7 and T12. His golf game has obviously gotten away from him as of late. However, he’s too good of a player not to recover from this recent funk and when he does, look out. Woodland is a risk-taking, long-ball hitter that can rack up birdies like some of the best in the game.--Drake Peaugh
