6 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (calf) was able to run, play catch, and catch a bullpen session on Friday. However, Sanchez still needs clearance from the medical staff before he can return to game action. It's unclear whether or not the Yankees will send Sanchez out for a rehab assignment. Sanchez is eligible to return on Sunday, so we could see him back in a Yankees uniform next week.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
