6/12:The New York Yankees have decided to give their All-Star catcher a three-day rest period. Gary Sanchez, who is hitting an abysmal .190 this season, was benched for Tuesday’s game against the Washington Nationals, with manager Aaron Boone stating he’d be given Wednesday off as well. The 25-year-old does have 12 home runs and 35 RBI but has never truly found his rhythm at the plate this season, now hitting .069 in June. Austin Romine started in his place on Tuesday and will likely start there on Wednesday as well.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
