Gabe Davis Aggravates Ankle, Still Expected To Play
2 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Gabe Davis (ankle) aggravated his ankle injury in practice this week, but that "he's on schedule to go" in the Week 4 contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Davis will most likely be listed as questionable on the team's final injury report for this weekend, but it sounds like the Bills expect him to play. It's not a ringing endorsement for his fantasy managers, especially after he returned in Week 3 to post just three catches on six targets for 37 yards. If the 23-year-old is limited at all this Sunday, he could easily disappoint his fantasy managers for a second straight week. Stefon Diggs and Isaiah McKenzie will benefit if Davis doesn't play his usual share of offensive snaps.
