Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen (lower body) is set to have knee surgery and will miss 8-12 weeks. He will undergo the procedure on Friday. Carolina has already been without Andersen for a while, with his last appearance coming on Oct. 26. Andersen started the season in fine form, going 3-1-0 while allowing only six goals across four starts with a .941 save percentage. Pyotr Kochetkov has done a remarkable job filling in for Andersen, picking up his 10th win in 12 starts on Wednesday versus Philadelphia. Spencer Martin is working as Kotchetkov's backup during Andersen's absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
