Freddy Peralta Dominates Cubs For Sixth Win
6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta was excellent on Sunday, throwing seven innings of one-run ball in a 7-1 win over the Chicago Cubs. Peralta allowed a lead-off homer to Nico Hoerner but gave up just one hit and two walks after that, striking out eight in the process. It's been a bit of a roller coaster season for the 28-year-old, with fantasy managers (and the Brewers themselves) not knowing what he's going to do in any given start. All in all, though, it's been a pretty nice season, as Peralta has a 6-4 record with a 3.83 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 120 strikeouts in 94 IP. He should be viewed as a must-start given his upside.
