Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet (ankle) won't play on Saturday against the Mavericks. He tweaked his ankle during a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets on February 1 and has missed the last three games. As a result, Amen Thompson has been handling things at the one spot, so he should continue to see an increase in usage. The same can be said for Jalen Green, who had 28 points in Thursday's loss to the Timberwolves. Tari Eason could remain in the starting lineup, with Cam Whitmore getting the most minutes from off the bench. Whitmore has combined for 52 points in the last three games and remains an appealing streaming option while VanVleet remains on the shelf.--Dennis Clausen
