Frank Clark Dealing With Minor Groin Injury
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said an MRI exam on defensive end Frank Clark (groin) revealed a minor groin strain on Monday. "He should be able to return after a little bit of rest," Reid said of Clark. The Chiefs locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs with their win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday, so Clark will have an extra week to rest and should be fine to play in the Divisional Round in two weeks. The 29-year-old pass-rusher is a key member of the Chiefs' underrated defensive line, so they'll be happy to get him back. In 15 starts in 2022, the three-time Pro Bowler had 39 tackles (25 solo), five sacks, eight tackles for loss, 13 QB hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
