Francisco Lindor Steals 20th Base Monday
1 year agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor reached the 20-20 mark in Monday night's 7-2 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates. He finished the night 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, his 20th stolen base of the season and a walk. The four-time All-Star now has 22 home runs, 26 doubles, 70 RBI, 20 steals and 74 runs scored in 502 trips to the plate and 117 games despite getting off to a tough start in 2023. It's the third time in Lindor's career that he's reached the 20-20 mark, with the last time coming in 2019 with Cleveland. The 29-year-old needs to be in starting fantasy lineups on a daily basis, especially since he's gone 20-for-55 (.364) with three long balls, four doubles, eight RBI, three steals and 13 runs scored in 15 starts since July 28.
