Detroit Red Wings defenseman Filip Hronek tallied two assists in Wednesday's 5-4 shootout loss to Buffalo, finishing November with 14 points. It's the highest points tally by a Red Wings defenseman in a single month since seven-time Norris Trophy winner Nicklas Lidstrom posted 16 points in December 2010. Hronek had multiple points in four of his last five appearances of the month. He showed off incredible form in November, but the Czech rearguard has actually been very consistent since the very first games of the season, and now has six goals and 14 assists in 22 games with 52 shots, 31 hits, 18 blocks and a plus-11 rating. --Taavi Pailk
