Filip Gustavsson Expected Back On Saturday
11 months agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson (lower body) has been activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Saturday's matchup against Arizona. He looks set to make his 23rd start of the season after Marc-Andre Fleury suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime loss against Philadelphia Friday night. Gustavsson has failed to match his numbers from last season, but he gained some momentum before getting injured, going 5-2-0 across seven starts. The Swedish netminder is 10-9-2 for the season while boasting a 2.96 goals-against average with a .903 save percentage and two shutouts. The Coyotes are mediocre offensively, meaning Gustavsson is in a decent spot to make a winning return.
