Falcons Activate A.J. Terrell From COVID-19 List
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons first-round rookie cornerback A.J. Terrell was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Terrell was a starter in the secondary for the first two weeks of the season before he went on the COVID-19 list before Week 3. The rookie had 11 tackles and one QB hit in his first two NFL games while playing 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps. For a secondary extremely beat up by injuries to Ricardo Allen, Keanu Neal, Darqueze Dennard and Damontae Kazee, the return of Terrell couldn't have come at a better time. The Falcons Defense is allowing the second-most passing yards per game (353.8) through four weeks of the season. You can avoid them against a Panthers team that has found their stride the last two weeks on offense, even without star running back Christian McCaffrey.
