Ezequiel Tovar Launches Two Home Runs In Saturday’s Victory
6 months agoColorado Rockies starting shortstop Ezequiel Tovar went 4-for-4 at the plate on Saturday with two home runs to power the Rockies to victory. He got things started with an RBI single in the first, which scored Charlie Blackmon. Then, in the sixth, he launched a solo shot to extend the Colorado lead. In the following frame, he hit his second round-tripper of the day, which scored outfielder Brenton Doyle. Tovar has performed very well this season and has been a valuable fantasy contributor with a solid .294/.326/.487 line with ten home runs and four stolen bases and is looking like an absolute steal compared to his ADP in the offseason. Tovar will continue to be an excellent shortstop option all season and has 20-20 upside.
