Ezekiel Elliott Narrows His List Down To Three Teams
2 years agoFormer Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has narrowed down his options to the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals, and he would like to make his decision on where to play next by the end of next week, according to sources. The Cowboys cut Elliott after seven seasons with the team. Although Zeke did have four 1,000-yard rushing campaigns in his time in Dallas, he had become much less explosive the last two years while losing valuable touches to Tony Pollard. The 27-year-old had a career-low 876 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 231 carries last year, but he'll likely be more of a short-yardage, goal-line back wherever he lands next. Based purely on the teams' depth charts, the Bengals look to be the best fit for Elliott on paper.
