Ezekiel Elliott, Aldon Smith Questionable Against Steelers
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) and defensive end Aldon Smith (knee) are questionable to face the Steelers in Week 9. Elliott was limited in practice all week, so he has a pretty good shot of playing. Smith was also limited all week. There are a handful of things going against Elliott this weekend, with the injury obviously being one of them. The Steelers Defense is a top unit in the league and will likely stack the box if Elliott plays with Dallas going with either Cooper Rush or Garrett Gilbert under center. He hasn't finished as a top-24 RB in any of the last three weeks, making him a shaky RB2 with his questionable tag. Backup Tony Pollard would have RB2 upside if Elliott were to be ruled out. Smith started the year off hot but has faded a bit, perhaps due to his injury. Dallas' defense has been one of the worst units in football, making them a fantasy afterthought against the undefeated Steelers.
