Everson Griffen Exits Home Without Incident
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen peacefully exited his home without incident on Wednesday after police and mental health professionals responded to a 911 call made by Griffen. They spent most of the day working with Griffen to get him to leave his home after he said there was an intruder inside of his home and that he needed help. Authorities were unable to locate an intruder in Griffen's residence. Griffen took a five-game leave of absence in 2018 due to a mental health-related issue, and the Vikings only concern at the moment is his well-being. It's unlikely that Griffen will be available for the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers, and with most of their defensive line starters injured or out, we wouldn't recommend using the Vikings defense in fantasy against a physical 49ers offense.
