San Jose Sharks left wing Evander Kane (middle body) will not play in Thursday's game against the Montreal Canadiens. Kane had missed the previous two contests with the same injury. The 27-year-old has had a productive fantasy season with 27 goals, 24 assists, 149 penalty minutes, 235 shots, and 140 hits through 64 games. The injury is not expected to be serious, so there is a chance he suits up for Saturday's game against the St. Louis Blues. In his absence, Timo Meier and Joonas Donskoi will line up in the top six. Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski, who were both dealing with the flu, will both be in the lineup as well.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
