Evan Fournier Expects To Be Traded
12 months agoNew York Knicks guard Evan Fournier expects the team to trade him this offseason. "You know I'm not gonna be back," Fournier stated during a recent interview. "There's no way they're gonna keep me. I would be very surprised if they do. So, we'll see." The 30-year-old averaged a hideous 6.1 points and shot a career-low 30.7% from deep this season (27 games). Fournier has one year remaining on an expiring deal (and a team-option in 2024-25), making him an enticing trade piece for a rebuilding team, especially one hoping to acquire draft picks or up-and-coming prospects heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Of course, his fantasy outlook will hinge on where he lands next and whether he'll receive routine minutes.
