Evan Engram Misses Another Practice
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (calf) did not practice for the second straight day on Thursday, another sign that he's trending toward missing the Week 1 season-opener on Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos. Earlier this week, Engram was considered a long shot to suit up against the Broncos, so fantasy managers should've already made other plans for their starting tight end position to kick off the 2021 season. Kyle Rudolph, who is coming off foot surgery in the offseason, is expected to be available to make his Giants debut and should see the bulk of the playing time at the position this Sunday for the Giants. However, Rudolph should be considered more of a deep DFS dart throw as a red-zone option in the team's crowded receiving corps.
