Evan Engram Dealing With Hamstring Injury
6 years agoNew York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) is recovering from a hamstring injury. The team has held Engram out of offseason work so far as a precaution, but he's expected to be ready to go for training camp. Engram took a step back in his second season in 2018 due to injury, catching 45 passes for 577 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games after he accumulated 64 receptions for 722 yards and six scores in his rookie season. With Odell Beckham Jr. in Cleveland, Engram should rebound to high-end TE1 status in 2019 as long as he can stay healthy.
