Evan Bouchard Extends Point Streak With Two Assists
12 months agoEdmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard added another game to his scoring streak on Thursday, finishing a 7-4 defeat to the Lightning with two assists. He had one power-play helper and an even-strength assist to tie the fourth-longest point streak by a defenseman in the past 25 years. The Oilers blue-liner has notched at least one point in 13 consecutive games, and he's even averaged two points per game through five outings in December. It's been an excellent year for Bouchard, who's sporting eight goals and 24 assists in 27 games. He needs to add only 12 more points to his tally to set a new career record.
