While Erik Van Rooyen is coming off an impressive seventh-place finish last week at the BMW Championship, there were a a lot of smoke and mirrors to that performance. Van Rooyen gained 0.1 strokes ball-striking, and 8.7 strokes short game and putting. It's certainly safe to say that his putter will regress this week. While the South African has been playing better golf of late, he has been a frustratingly inconsistent player over a large sample size and it is difficult for me to say with any confidence that he is a safe bet to continue this level of play based on his statistics. --Andy Lack
