There have definitely been some positive signs out of Erik Van Rooyen recently. Not only did he win the Barracuda Championship, but followed it up with a 37th-place finish at the Wyndham Championship where he gained 3.6 strokes on approach. Van Rooyen's irons have been terrible this season, so it is definitely a good sign that his approach game is finally trending in the right direction. With that being said, Van Rooyen is hard to trust. He's missed nine cuts this season, and the win in the Barracuda Championship, which was an alternate field event, remains his only top-five of the season. --Andy Lack
